When employers fail to meet with demands for Employment Standards Act or Health and Safety Act compliance WWAC can choose to exercise public direct action with the help of our community. This decision is not taken lightly and always done with the informed consent and support of all workers concerned. Due to the intricacies of confidentiality, timing and effectiveness, we can not disclose to you the employer or action to be taken until it is absolutely essential.

• Can attend an event or protest on short notice
• Want fair, legal and safe employment for all members of our community
• Are willing to demand that employers respect labour laws
